The Guild KC was founded in 2011 as an independent, locally-owned venue by digital retouching pioneer Judy Rush with her sons Lyndon and Lindsey Wade.

A family of artists, Rush and the Wades created The Guild as a sister company to their attached photography studio with a vision to create a space for their friends and collaborators to gather and grow a community together.

Over its 13 years of operation, The Guild has become an East Crossroads fixture and home to many treasured memories. We have proudly hosted innumerable weddings, celebrations, arts events, professional events, flea markets and more, and look forward to all the memories yet to come.
